The Merriam-Webster dictionary states that an MVP can be defined as: : “the player who contributes the most to his or her team’s success”.
At Reed City Group, we are team in every form, and each of our “players” are extremely crucial to the overall success of the company. Each month, we aim to spotlight those that have gone above and beyond in contributing to our team’s success. These people naturally go out of their way, for the better good of everyone, without initially knowing how much their contribution means. Their leadership qualities are a driving force that motivate those around them to be better. Here are some of our recent MVP’s:
John Ptak: March
In March, John stood up and took on a unique project. As our company is progressing and growing, we want to ensure we look and feel like a first class facility inside and out. This is the norm for John, but in March, he went above his daily duties to lead an aesthetic overhaul. By prepping, cleaning, and refinishing our floors, it instantly took our shop to the next level. John was nominated by our Director of Facilities. We thank John for his contributions and the ability he has each day to be a part of this team.
Spencer Mund: March
As another crucial player in March, Spencer aimed to improve the overall flow of activities with various other teams. He developed a daily scorecard, an important tool in measuring the pulse of the company and those who contribute to it. This card allows us to measure our performance through various metrics and compare them to other aspects in the company. This methodology results in being able to analyze our decisions, and the results of the decisions so we can continuously improve in the positive direction. Spencer was nominated by our Director of Continuous Improvement. Thank you for your hard work and contribution, Spencer!
Steve Dubreuil: April
In April, our MVP was Steve Dubreuil. Steve is a hard-working, team player on our shop floor. In this month, a customer called seeking urgent assistance. Steve took this task, and guided his team to do what they needed to do to ensure that the customer was happy. Because he led the mission successfully, our customer was unbelievably happy with the results. So happy that they bought pizza for the entire shop! Steve was nominated by our Director of Operations. Great work, Steve! We appreciate it.
